I love the look of the actinics only. I had VHO actinics on my 125 reef and I loved it. Will the T5 actinics look the same / make corals "glow"? Or is it something in the VHO actinics that makes things "glow"?
I have T5's on my 75g tank and I will order a VHO retro if I have to to run just the actinics. (I don't have any corals in the 75g yet)

T5 actinics only should have the same effect if you have enough wattage. I'm pushing 320w of actinics only.

Thank you. I only have 2-54w T5 actinics on the 75g right now. (and 2-54w 10k T5's of course) I think I'm going to order 2-110w VHO actinics to add to it. That will give me 328w of actinics over the 75g tank. If the corals don't glow under that, there's a problem
