Nice Pictures, I'm not expert when it comes to pictures, I'd be interested to know how to stop the glare as well.

Any gap will allow you to get the glare, even a tiny one, but holding the lens directly to the bottom pane should resolve the issue, assuming you are slightly submerging the box as well for the top down shots..... not submerging it would obviously give you a potential reflection off the surface of the water which would result in a glare as well. But looking at the pictures I would say the big issue is the lens not being flush to the surface your shooting through.

When shooting from the front looking into the tank, same thing as well, hold the lens directly to the glass/acrlyic and it will eliminate the glare.

A fresh cleaning of the surface (inside and out) will also help remove minute particles, finger prints/various smudges that will also create a glare/ hazy look in pictures.

Pics look really good tho, and your camera skills have vastly improved in a short amount of time

Thanks for the compliment and tips. My camera won't allow me to place it directly on the pains. It effects the focus. I do think Ishould have used a tube instead of making a box tho. I am going to try making a top panel that just the lens fits thru maybee that will end the reflection from the six AI's .lol

Now that's a cool shot!! I tried a piece of typing paper to stop the glair and so ya couldn't see the lamps. It allowed the light to shine through but I couldn't hold the paper and take the pic at the same time-lol
