    Ok, here's some examples of cropping to zoom in on something. Kinda hard to do because the original wasn't very large like the ones my camera takes, but I had this photo on my computer.

    My problem is I get "fuzzy" when I zoom in, I have a feeling this has to do with the camera not being "still" enough thats why I asked about a tripod.
    55 Gallon. One year old, and looking SUPER.

    The nice thing about digital cameras is that you can just delete the ones that don't turn out. Try a tripod (heck, they're under $20 at walmart for an aluminum one) and also try the timer setting too. That combination of things allows great flexibility for taking pictures of non-moving stuff. Fish on the other hand are hit or miss for me. Then again, you can take 100 pictures to get 3 good ones and you're not out any money. Also get into the manual of the camera and start playing around!!!

    Those are some beautiful shots guys!! My dinky little camera is only a 1.3!! Thank goodness for photoshop CS!! I'm lusting after a nice Digital SLR a customer had at work the other day!! 10megs with a zoom and macro that he said could take a picture from across the street and look like you were right on top of your subject!!
