    Default New Pics...

    My tank has now been up and running since the end of Oct 05'. Water parameters have been good and stable. I've been maintaining about 460 ppm of CA, 12 dKH Alk, and Mag. at about 1380 ppm , PH runs between 8.1 and 8.3. Here's a few pics of my tank. I have a mix of LPS, SPS and Softies. I've been buying mostly frags add sticking them in with either Aquamend or Plummers Epoxy. If I don't the snails will knock them off...

    that is great, that is going to be a beautiful tank when it matures. It looks like your off to an excellent start. Thanks for the pics!

    Frags look to be doing quite well indeed...same for the clam in the front (maxima??) how long have you had that now?

    Thanks... dakar the clam I believe is a crocea. I've had it for a couple of weeks now.The clam sits in half a clam shell from my old tank I had 11 years ago. I had that Maxima for a couple of years. If I remember I think it died shortly after my Sea Apple got sucked into a powerhead and released it's poison, a hard lesson to learn. For some reason when it died I kept the shell.

    Yep... T. crocea with sweet markings to boot!!! Nice starts and growth(escpecially the mille). Keep up the good work.

    Wow your tank looks amazing! I wish I had strong enough light for a clam. I have to save up for the lighting. Looks great!
