Yes, anyone can send me any softies or LPS anytime. I have so much to replace and not a ton of money. Man my hospital stay killed our wallets for a long time. What do you do.

Actually, it's perfectly fine. If you'd like, we could pull the whole article right over here to the site. Our forum supervisor - Perpetual has been very helpful to the folks here on the site. He takes some gorgeous pictures as well!! I always say I wish I had his camera, but I think it has a lot to do with who's taking the photo, so the camera is a good excuse I guess. We have a Kodak Easy Share - 6.1 pixels. I take wonderful photo's of nature & people etc., but when it comes to photographing upclose beauty from my reefs, it's very hit or miss. Thank you for sharing your article with us! ....Angel :angel1:

    Excellent article!!!
It is true that we learn something every day... I am always battling reflections, but I never once thought about MY clothing being problematic! Thanks for the great tip!!! :-D

Another method some employ is to take pictures from above, which I refer to as Topdown Shots. A while back, I created a small photobox with some acrylic so I could shoot through the surface of the water to avoid the lightbulb reflections. It works pretty well, but sometimes some light bounces around inside the box.

Here's what it looks like. Feel free to build your own, following its design.

Here's a picture from my tank using the Topdown Photobox in October:

One more (note some VHO reflection snuck into the box in the upper left section):
