Yep I have lost a few corals to mine as well. Moved it out of my DT and it now resides in a corner of my frag tank 4 to 5 inches away from everything else.

I have a nice little colony in a low flow low light area that I have had for almost a year. I just feed my whole tank once a week it has grown a little but it grows slow at least for me.
