I had the green ones but they melted and left the red ones behind.

Unreal, I just found the new best place to get zoas, 3x4 inch rocks covered with zoas for no more than $40!

+1 they don't have sweepers it's like this brown net and the only time you will see is if the acan is stinging something. The sting is very strong and if some coral does get stung it will most likely...
Acans are notorious for changing colors in home aquariums.

It's sad to know that they go from beautiful mother colonies to1polyp frags.

They are collected at that size?!?!?
Wow, those are awesome!
I have a plate that has the same problem as yours and I didn't cut mine, it began to regrow over the old skeleton and then it got in a fight with another coral and it began to recede at the same spot...
Feeding it wouldn't hurt either.

cleaning the glass because it always splashes over the side which makes it so I have to clean the out said as well.
I have two clowns that host the same mushroom and it is doing just fine!
If you are buying zoas try and make sure the zoas are growing on the plug, that shows some age for the frag.
Those are nice!
Very nice tank!
This is a great topic, I have seen experienced retailers selling unhealthy frags as well as selling freshly fragged things. If people don't know what a healthy looking frag looks like then they are...
That actually looks like a palythoa to me because you can see sand particles in its structure.
That was a great find!
