To use the LCD that is used within the sketch you will need to purchase the Adafruit LCD backpack for $10. The backpack uses I2C where as the parallel LCD would use up too many pins on the Uno.

At current there are a few versions of the Arduino which is a programmable controller using C++ coding. I am currently using the Arduino Mega1280 in these builds with a 128x64 bit KS0108 GLCD screen...

Thanks for mentioning those drivers....they will actually keep the weight down as well as cost down compared to the 24v PS and 2 Cat4101 driver boards.I totally forgot about them...plus they...

The Cat4101 Drivers can run 6-7 LEDs per driver at 1000mA, the pots on the enclosure will actually be connected to the RSET of the driver allowing you to adjust the current to what...

So i'd like some input on this enclosure design from all of you....Am trying to find a way to enclose everything in one unit to justify the $70 cost of an aluminum 2U rack-mount or try a cheaper...

It actually varies with the size and what the bio-load is like.....if you have an overstocked nano tank than yeah it's a good idea to have one.Even if it's not stocked to the max you can run one...
