I plucked it off. Now it turned into a piece of green hair algae that needs to be plucked off. I wanted to keep that Monti in good shape.

I did some research and found out that this is a calcium based algae. I guess its pretty harmless. I have no idea how I got it, it just popped up. Has anyone else dealt with these guys before? ...
