culligan and such places offer free water tests and estimates for new softeners and equip. id probably start there other than the typical test kits good luck

just built a 3 chamber sump.. fuge/return/skimmer and inlet. am now thinking of putting the outlet side of the skimmer to the fuge chamber to put "clean skimmed water" in there and to get it away...
