Be about it sorry to say ..... I myself was not told by the local fish store that neon green star polyps were aggressive like yours and they sold them to me knowing I was new to the hobby they also...

I have alot of coral so I would have to take all rock out and let it die and replace the substrate and clean all of the tank ... would be like stating over .... ask others about it maybe they will...

Almost start over .... or I think if u get a fish that eats coral it will eat it up ... but I don't know if it would take completely care of it .....

That's a hard one ... because it is a mat . It only takes missing a little spot and it will come right back. ... fast grower and aggressive like I said
