Just remember that the Mags are pigs..use a lot of energy and do transfer heat. You'll have to compensate for that, unless, like me, the sump etc. is in a basement that is chilly, year round.

I got a Mag 18 to pump from my 75 "Sumpzilla" upstairs to the display. Haven't plumbed it yet, but by spec, is should work.

Nudibranchs are soo tough in that they really don't fare well in faster moving water. I've tried them, many types, but they all become power head fodder or end up living in my sump, no matter how...
Pepps for sure... I forget how large a system you have, but I have 3 in a 26G :) No nasty glassy anemones in there.

Doooh! :O Looks like a tentacle that turned inside out!
Personally, I'd not mess with it. Anemone have a strange way of taking care of themselves. I've had them bounce back nicely after...
Hippocampus Kuda and other forms of wildlife in the Pulai river estuary, near Singapore, need protection from this proposed development! The seagrass beds, seahorses and the dugong (Manatee like...
Well.. I'm moving the 26 bow from the family room, where it stands now, will be the acrylic custom *pointing up to previous post* that will be plumbed through the floor, to the 75G Sump-zilla and...
Marc,
The acrylic 74G (30X24X24) is done and just needs to be plumbed and set into the stand. All of the fish will be moving into the new tank soonest. The kole is actually a "save" from a...

Here are a couple of my hitch-hiking bivalves. This spiny oyster does NOT bore...but sits atop a rock where I noticed it a year or so ago. It has increased in size by 10 fold since then. Hendrix,...
