Default another score from the LFS

Decide to stop at the all-purpose pet store(something like Petco). They usually dont have anything good reef-related but noticed they had set up a display over the past yr.Seen a small colony of Blastomussa wellsi with $20.00 written in marker on the front glass. When i asked the help,he said the "shrooms" were indeed $20.In this case silence was golden and i ended up walking out with a expensive rare coral for cheap.pics to come soon

That's an awesome Christmas surprise. Santa must figure you've been a good boy! I can't wait to see that fully open. Congratulations Dave!

I had the same thing happen with some blastos at Aquatic Dreams here. Sadly, I was in kind of a hurry when the blastos were marked $20 and I was trying to politely wait while the guy helped a couple of other customers. I ran out of time, so left. The next day, the same blastos were moved to another tank, and didn't have a price. I asked the owner "weren't these in the $20 frag tank yesterday?" He said, "Yeah, it's a good thing I saw that!" I asked, "Well, I wanted them yesterday, so how much are they now?" He said "Thirty bucks for you." I have new blastos, too! About 10 or 12 of them on a rock a little bigger than my palm. Plus, I got a 10% discount. So only $27. Was that a good deal? Seemed very cool to me. They look the same as your photos.
