Use the same drip method you would use for most any critters.

Whats worked for me in the past is taking the coral out of the bag and putting it in the tank.Your going to find that you need to be more careful with acclimating some SPS to your lighting than to the tanks water chemistry.

If you want the quick method that has always worked for me, I float the bag for about 20 min. , then open poor into a container, every 5 to 10 min I add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water from the tank until I have trippled the water level. I have been doing this for about 3 years. The last time I lost an sps was when the movers cracked my 120 gallon tank and I lots 75% of my corals because I had to put them in a rubber made for a week till i got a new tank. P.S. don't us two men and a truck for moving stuff in madison.
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.

Bobby,I know it was a smart answer but i wasn't being entirely untrue.I'm not kidding in the least when i said that.Of course,I get all my SPS corals from the sme store and our tanks share the same water chemistry so that could be why its always worked. In fact,i do the same with fish.I don't use a net,I scoop them out with my hand then place them in the tank.In 5yrs,I've never lost a critter doing this.

the drip method works very well. also when you acclimate them you want to make sure if they are frags and that they are unattached, you want to let them sit in the tank for at least a week before you attach them to rock. and like David said you have to acclimate to the light as well!!!!
