    Default Turbinaria

I have 2 colonies in my tanks.I think they are T.peltata.One is plate-like in its growth form and as such probably comes from reduced water-flow.The other is cup like with nodular growths from the center which presumably came from an area of higher water-flow.My research has shown they come from turbid waters(higher nutrients)and are quite adaptable to lighting, some thriving in less-intense light. My limited experience shows they are heavy mucus producers and shed frequently and are eager to eat CE.They are a great coral IMO and should do well in higher-nutrient(softie,LPS tanks). So,how many of you CR members keep these corals in your reefs.Share your experiences.
