    oops - colt frags

At least I only brought it back from being gone a month. Blaze up there is the one who brought it back from the dead originally. :-) I guess this forum is a little on the slower side.

But while we are here...... what method did you try, Bobby, and did it work?

..... sooooo long after the original post *blush*

I have a colt I have to cut up. It's freaking breaking my heart because it is so big and beautiful. But now it's being sucked into the overflow it is so big. Half the tank is all about him. And he's really being mean to the toadstool. We just bought a stand for a 24" x 24" x 12" high frag tank to set up at the new house and surgery will commence there after.... I will use the toothpick method.

ZAP gel, I use this on most of my corals, just a little dab on the edge of the base should do the trick

now i use LOC-tite superglue gel when i do ANY fragging. as Graphixxx22 stated ... if you dry them fairly well and let them sit for a minute or 2, they adhere rather well.

Hi, is it ok to frag the colt in the main tank and keep the frags there as well? I was planning on doing this and running some carbon.
    thanks

I frag in my main tank all the time and nothing bad happens. some will produce a bit of slime but if ur skimmer works then you should be fine. although a little carbon to be on the safe side couldn't hurt.
It's all about the reef. :YEAH:
