    Default devils hand reproducing????????

I was wondering if anyone could tell by my horrible pic if my devil is reproducing or if something is picking at it. I have not seen anything on it during the day or night times.

Hard to tell from the picture but my guess is some sort of nature function for the leather IMO. Several times my leather has produced small, sugar-size, black dots out of its "pores". The black dots come out of all of the pores at basically the same time followed by a slim shed. I am guessing mine is either exporting waste :pottytrain4: or producing eggs. I had a emerald munching on my leather and the damage pretty apparent.

Sompa, you've peeked my interest on that one as well. What did you do with the piece that eventually dropped off? It certainly was a nice little frag if nothing else. I've always wondered how these have "dropped baby's" to re-produce as I've been told they will do. This could very possibly be what your coral is doing, but I can't be sure. It could also just be an area that got bumped and injured enough to cause that piece to break away. Have you found any additional information out on what may have gone on here? It seems to me that there is an awful lot of reproduction going on with the coming of spring which has brought up many questions and points of interest for me. I'm adding this one to my list of many to read on, and If I find anything probable or factual about it's reproduction, I will let you know! .......Angel

well, I cut the tip off and rubberband it to a new rock. It attached itself in two days and both my main and tip are doing fine. both are polyping and looking like they are healing. I will try to get pics so you can see. I don't know if it was dropping or got cut but hopefully they will continue to be ok.

thanks for all the adivise and help
