spotty pale mushrooms

These orange and red mushrooms are very pale and spotty and these pink ones have developed white lesions or stripes no clue what they are....any guesses? Thanks!
Water temp 76, selenity 1.024,ph 8.3, dkh 7-8, calcium 470, nitrates/nitrites not present

i have a crap load of those shrooms (in the wifes tank) i have never looked them up, but i will now !!

they are Actinodiscus (= discosoma) mutabilis or commonly called : speckled mushrooms.

they are the same as the other mushrooms that don't have spots but the spots appeared on these out of nowhere thanks for the info

Taxonomy in Corallimorhs is very difficult.There are few genera that can be positively ID'd from a picture.I would agree that this genus is probably Discosoma.However,soecies identification is best left to the scientists/taxonomists.It is normal for Corallimorphs to morph their color/texture/size under different conditions.Those white spots could be a number of different things.It could just as well be the corallimorph morphing under the tanks conditions.Keep an eye on it and report back later.

I agree..the mushrooms look like they are "coming to" after being placed in your system. I have the same type of coralimorph and they are red and spotted under power compacts, but grew a creme colored "pinwheel" marking under metal halides. If you look at the shrooms in the bottom right, you can see the pinwheel marks. The others, in the foreground, seem to be morphing that way.

The red spotted shrooms in the first picture do seem to be a little translucent. Are they getting enough light? Mine, as they get shaded, actually go 100% clear until they get light. If they don't they tend to melt away.

Just remember, JustDavid.....RESEARCH BEFORE you put it in your tank. I know it's hard to even turn down an offer from a friend but at some point soon you are going to put something in your tank that might harm your favorite whatever!

Aside from that.....those are pretty shrooms, fella! LOL
