    most of your corals wether they be hard or soft will pull all the nutrients from the lights in the first 6 hours that they are on the rest is un necessary

    I just run my MH for 6 hours a day for the coral and the VHO for 10 for me
    I HAVE A PROBLEM' I'M ADDICTED TO MICROMUSSA

    If u only have flourescents,i'd run them for 12hrs.With halides and supplemental flourescents,i use a 6hr halide,12hr flourescent photoperiod.

    when fragging, make sure that you have good water quality in the tank that the new frags go in. this will promote a speedy recovery and and help them grow.
