I forgot to mention, after every feeding I change out my filter sock. That helps IMO.

I will think outside the glassbox.
I'm another of those who doesn't feed regularly, more from a food availability than anything else. My tank is predominantly zoas with a few palys and others mixed in. The local LFSs don't really carry much, so its either order it online or don't feed. Also depends on my fish population. If/when I have fish, I usually broadcast feed every other day. When I had flasher wrasses I feed daily, sometimes twice daily. When I fed mysis, I would sometimes spot feed the palys (now reclassified as protopalys) and PE zoanthids. However, I can't say that I saw any increased growth rate as a result. But again, I don't do it regularly.
I collect PEs, and I'm always looking to trade for ones I don't have yet.
I just feed the tank Rod's daily.
I don't spot feed. I always turn off all return pumps and allow internal circulation to run for 10 seconds after adding the food source. After 10 secs, I'll turn off the internal circulation and allow the food to settle. Those polyps exhibiting a prey/capture behavior will retract as they feed. I allowed enough time, usually 4 to 5 minutes, for the food to settle, then I'd kick on the internal flow again for 30 seconds, repeating this process 3 times. Every single inch of my tank which was loaded with polyps was fed. I guess if you have a few frags/polyps/colonies and you want to spot feed, and it works for you, that's great. But if you have hundreds if not thousands of polyps, well, it could take all day to spot feed every polyp in my opinion alone.

PS. That Coral Frenzy is the very best. It's so good, I even add it to my protien shakes after my workouts. Dude !!!! It's buffing me up even.

Please stop fragging your frags.......you'll eventually do more damage than good. Just let them grow.
Hey Mucho, when we gonna see a picture of your tank?
