You have the venturi tube in place and above the water line??? If it has an air flow adjuster do you have it open??

    Default Problem solved

The venturi air inlet was backwards from the box! Works good now some noise from pump some air noise but that is easy to fix. For $178 i would give it 4 stars

    Default Skimate

This picture shows about 26 hours skimming a trash can full of live rock. I think the euro-reef RS-80 promo is a good buy at $178.

I've had my RS80 promo for about 3 or 4 weeks. It is a great deal and a very good skimmer. I searched around for a long time before deciding on the ER skimmers but was unsure of the promo model. The outlet it comes with is very similar to a gate valve mod. You can really dial it in.
    I love it.
