Good luck, and be sure to let us know how you are progressing!
I agree wet web is a very informative site.as for stocking your tank you will find that your options at this time are going to somewhat limited fish and LR are basic to start with I do suggest more harty fish such as damsels(also much more inexpencive and moder to make mistakes with.if your thinking about a reef tank then only stock you tank with fish that are concidered reef safe but also good beginner fish.I dont reccomend tangs at all as a beginner species due to the fact they are quite prone to ich caused by stress.chromis very simular to damsels have also a very large variety of colors and sized and somewhat less aggression toward tankmates or like species(always veries on each fish ) dont plan on corals right away or an enenome if concidering a clown these should be added only to a well established tank 1 yr or older to be best examples as established. to be sure of what fish goes with good with other fish heer is a link to a compatabilty chart I have been using for the duration of this hobby for me which has been just over 4 1/2 yrs all have proven to be right on when it comes to what goes with who.the only time i have had issues with tank mates is when i have neglected to follow the charts suggestions. good luck and welcome to the hobby
