Well, I live in LA .... which is far from the boonies and it takes me an hour to get down the street!

Is you nearest LFS an hour away?

If it wasn't for the kids I would NOT be living where I do. The smallest house here costs 600,000.00... no freaking joke.

Renee.....I hear ya about the housing in LA. 15 yrs. ago I lived there. We paid 875.00 a month for a roach infested apt. I moved quickly. I had never seen a cockroach till I moved there. I haven't seen one since I moved either. Remember....the raisins in the raisen bran do not move and everything goes into tupperware and gets stored in the frige.
I get the willies just thinkin about it. I have a HUGE house in central WI now and my morg. pmt is only 550.00. Couldn't rent a garage for that in LA.

ALLRIGHT!!!! today is demolition day!!! when I get home I am gonna start taking out the wall!!!! I have everything measured and took a chalk line to it!!! I knocked a little hole out to see what I am looking at and seems pretty easy. I will take some pics today when I get started. I am also gonna try and get the hole framed in and maybe just maybe get the molding done but no worries if I dont, I have plenty of time.

Just checked with Vegas. The line on your getting that done today isn't looking good. The odds of you making an unexpected trip to Home Depot is unnervingly high.
120G Reef and 40B reef at work, 120G tank dry and dirty in the garage.

    Default BRINGING DOWN THE WALL

Well tonight I started tearing down the wall. thought it would be a breeze. usually a wall consists of sheet rock on both sides right???? NOT THIS WALL, well come to find out this used to be the back wall of the house before the addition. so the clowns that added on just sheet rocked over the back of the house. so I get the sheet rock off and there is WOOD SIDING!!!! so this took a little longer than expected. I will get the rest of it done tomorrow and framed in!!! here are some pics of the mess!!!
