    Default Be careful!!!!

Sunday night we let the dogs out of the house. They started barking so we hurried up and let them in. Once they were in the house we found out they had gotton skunked.

So we all ran around the house trying to get the dogs unstinky, and then trying to get the house unstinky. If you ever had this happen you know how hard this is.

No one thought anything of my 75 gal tank, we turned the lights off and went to bed. I woke up the next morning and the tank was cloudy and everything was dead. All I can think of was the aresol must have been sprayed over it and gotten into the water.

So I just wanted to let you all know and warn you of something you may have never even thought of.

    RIP Fishes

I guess, i don't know what else would have killed everything over night, i mean less then 12 hrs everything was dead. I tested my water a week or so before and everything was a little high (ammo around .5) where it normally is before I did a water change, so there is no way just over night everything would be dead. at least that is all i can figure out.

They are known to melt down. Mine did exactly that, but also poisoned my water when the epoxy stuff they put on the pump where it joins the power cord burnt and released toxic chemicals

    Lost 5 of 7 chromis
