i know it has taken a while but it is worth it, i promise ... here are a couple before and after full tank shots ... just keep in mind that i am not done, i need to move the heaters to the sump and get the background, and some little nick nack stuff. i am gonna replumb it also, i do not like the flex PVC that came with it.

thanks Jerry, this friday i am going to get an icecap 660 ballast, and end caps, and 2 10,000K VHO bulbs. for a total of 6 VHO bulbs, and getting 2 more the following week for a toatal of 7. 4 10,000K, 2 white actinics, and 1 super blue actinic. that should be sweeeet, and grow just about anything.

well the math dont add up huh ?? im am going to go with 4 10,000K, 1 super blue, and 2 white actinics. that should do the trick. i am getting the 660 with endcaps for $125, the lights are a little pricey at $40/each butwell worth it at 110 watts each.

thanx Amanda, it still isn't done but i thought it deserved a post anyway. i am going to redo ALL the plumbing, so that all 4 overflow holes are drains, into 2 sumps, and run the PVC out of the back and up the side of the tank, and across the top. this should allow me to run my 2 mag 7 pumps (1 in each sump) for returns with probably 6 outlets in the form of the flex nozzles. i need way more flow than i am getting by just using the overflow the way it was intended, so now it is time to DIM (do it myself) the way i need it to be.
