    Just be sure you never used any copper meds in the FW tank. to seed it all you need to do is let it set in the tank, preferably touching some LR but it doesnt have to, and it will seed all by it's self.
    Does water always taste like salt and poo????

    Adam, I've also heard from several people, that many of the e-bay LR dealers are very very good. From them, its about 4-5 bucks per LB.

    well fancy that, i was just checking it out and some of it looks legit as low as 2.20$ american per lb

    the rock you had in your fw tank is it heavy/dense? you would want rocks that are porous if you look at it closely you could see the pores in the rock structure
