    #ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Some rock that I have heard is good for swa is Texas Holey rock. It is typically used on cichlid tank since it acts like a buffer for the ph. Doesnt raise it too much, but it is as expansive as ****. Looks great though. Very porous lime stone as well. Look into it if your interested.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

    I'm sure you're speaking of lace rock... it may also leach phosphates.
    There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying

    i heard that that rock is really good for fresh water cichlids but it leaches bad stuff out in salt water just like lava rock.

    UPDATE!! i got a fox face and 2 mexican turbos reduced the light and the cotton candy algae is gone.. :D turbos love that stuff. just an update here i'll try to get a pic this weekend..

    What is Cotton candy algae and what does it look like. Im guessing it is not a good algae either.

    look in the pics the red fuzzy stuff is the algae. it kinda got out of control in my tank.
