as for the flame scallops, i would only get 1 to start out because they feed heavily and some people have a hard time keeping them. i have had mine for almost a year now and consider myself lucky. do not get a coral banded shrimp if you get a flame scallop though as they will pick at or kill the flame scallop.

I have never had a scallop but have read that feeding DT's reef blend will increase your chances quite a bit.
