    Default Quaratine tank question

I am new to the saltwater aspect of the hobby.
My 65 has been up and running with a cleanup crew for 3 months.
All parameters are normal and stable.
Getting ready to add fish. My question is about a quarantine tank, should I lower salinty in quarantine and then gradually increase to tanks parameters?
    Thanks Mike

as long as the salinity doesn't dramaticly change (1 full point or more) from where you got the fish ... it should be ok. QT is more for you to keep an eye on the fish for desease or parasites or fungus, that kind of stuff. most LFS's around here stay between 1.019 (lowers chance of parasites surviving) and 1.025. i usually ask to test their salinity so i know if i need to do anything special to make sure the fish survives.

Keeping the same water parameters in both the QT and display tank will result in less stress on the animals being quarentined when it comes time to move them into the display. One less chance for stress.
