Ok so my ceiling and walls are not an option to hang my 13lb LED unit. This leaves me with either mounting conduit to my tank stand or some how to the tank itself.

Conduit to the side of the tank stand? (Back of stand not an option) Issues are. The stand has an almost 2" lip so I would have to add a piece of wood to make it flush, then attach the conduit to that piece. My worry is the weight of the unit causing the conduit to sag. Thus pulling the conduit into the tank. Causing the light to sink lower.

Mounting the unit on the tank? Issues are. I've no idea how I could achieve this. The unit isn't made for this option.

Please someone help?!!
