Well I haven't tested it out, and I don't intend to, but I'm sure ANYTHING that could fit the slow moving tiny shrimp in its mouth would eat them. They don't really have any good defenses other than being able to swim really fast if need be. I don't know that I would even trust something like banggai cardinals with them.

I had been wanting to breed banggais in the tank with them until someone brought to my attention the fact that they could eat the bongos.

Now here's something interesting- While cleaning my tank, I noticed that one of the Bongo Shrimp in my new pair might have eggs. I suspect so because one's abdomen is darker than the other's.
