    Default Nano lighting upgrade

Finally got the canopy built and the PC retro kit (arrived yesterday) set up over our daughter's 10g nano tank. Really nice change from a single 18w T8 50/50 strip light to a 1x96w 50/50 (10K/Act 03). Now she's approaching 10w per gallon Housing coral should not be a lighting issue, as soon as it matures a bit more and is able to sustain the current bioload (add in getting a better skimmer) Angel will get her hooked up with some softies, zoanthids and leathers.

Figured it needed to be shown off a bit what just a little change in lighting intensity and spectrum shifts can do.

Thanks, really strugled with not putting some sort of HID light over it for her, the biggest thing was that I didn't want to worry over it being in her bedroom. Stumbling over the 19" 96w retro kit sure made the choice easy

Now if I can stumble into one of those Prizm skimmer for cheap, I'll be much happier, I hate that big powerhead taking up so much space in her tank.

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#the prizm works well I think you'll likeit I use a larger prizm on my 46 gallon the only thing is that the prizm is a pain in the rear to adjust. luckly once its set it stays there.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
