For your size of set-up I would probably just go start for a bathroom style vent fan. They can be bought for a reasonable price and will work much better for coolling. Here is an article that might be helpful.

I installed a 1.0 sone fan in my bathroom and it is nice and quiet. You can hook up a temp or huminity controller to them for ease of use. Fly me to Boise and I will hook everything up for you.
