    Default skimmer help

    i need to buy a skimmer i think i want to buy on-line (more choices). I need advise on a skimmer that's going to actually work so recommend a good one and the web page would be awesome...thanks.

    ASM skimmers are so sweet. If you have $$$$$$$ to spend, there's H&S or Deltec, too. ASM is a great skimmer for the best prices. www.asmskimmer.com

    that looks nice. I don't have a sump will the g1 or the g2 still work. and that mod kit for 38$ it looks as you can buy the parts at like home depot?

    You're gonna need a sump and you can get most of those parts at any plumbing supply, but gatevalves seem far less easy to find.

    Repto is right that you will probably want a sump at some point in the future but if that is not an option right now and you are looking for a hang on the back (HOB) skimmer, I would check out the AquaC Remora

    Everyone I have chatted with really like their AquaC Products including me (EV120)

    I bought my AquaC from Marine Depot.com. They seem to have pretty good pricing and good customer service.

    i 2nd Whoyah on the aqua c, i have an ev 120 as well. mine is plumbed externally beside my sump. i also purchased mine from marine depot but you can have aqua c custom make one if you have some specific you need to accomodate.

    Both of the ones mentioned above or good i run a AquaC-Pro but plain on upgrading soon and will go with the ASM .
    If you get the AquaC get the Pro some have problems with the regaler one
