Most people i've seen keep their "lords" on the SB,but according to the coral search, they are found in shallow reef environments.I always start new additions on the SB but since i'm only running 2 VHO's and 2 T5's,I'll probably end up moving it up to mid-way.As far as current goes,low-med currents should allow for good expansion

Its not lonely anymore, its sprouted 6 new polyps in the 2 months i've had it.I've been battling cyano as well as low alk the whole time yet it continues to thrive.Seems to be a very hardy coral.

I thought they were suppposed to be relatively slow growers? Looking fantastic Dave, keep'm going!

A.echinata are slow growers but A.lordhowensis are supposed to be fast growers from what i've heard.I've also heard that some of the different color morphs are slow growers leading people to believe they might be a different species.

I don't think I've seen any in our stores here at all. I do notice though that trends are set in the reefing world just like in clothing and other styles. It may sound silly, but if someone gets something on the board and you suddenly start seeing everyone wanting it, then all of the sudden you notice that the LFS start carrying that particular coral until the trend seems to be satisfied. Then the next trend will hit.
