    Any preservatives???

That was a good question. I went looked. Only the "crab" has additional ingredients. I will just pitch that.

sounds good... IMO, raw oysters or scallops and a fillet of a high protein fish(also raw) would be a great addition.
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying

I do like the oysters alot too,as well as the raw clams. They blend up nicely and by using the whole shellfish(the organs)they add alot of minerals/vitamins that aren't found in the muscular part of the seafood.I always squeeze the brains out of the raw shrimp as well.I'm sure you probably wont have any problems with the cooked mussels but raw is ideal.Something about the way the protein structure is changed in the cooking process.

Can I go clam hunting in the creek bed that leads right into the river? As far as my mix went, I used some flake food, some pebble food, 6 fresh shrimp, some dried Krill that they wouldn't touch by just adding it to the tank, dried cyclopeeze (soaked first), brine shrimp, silver sides, and some angel/butterfly cubes, blood worms *gross*, some dry phytoplankton that I didn't use, and some tank water. I flipped the switch on the blender, and in no time I had 3/4's of the blend jar full. It sure smelled fishy! I filled a large Ziplock bag and poured the mush into the bag, laid it flat in the freezer, and basically it looks a lot like the way brine shrimp & cyclopeeze are prepared & frozen. I can just smack the frozen mush against the counter and take a chunk out. I like it for direct target feedings that don't let go of the good stuff when your baster some in. It's consistency is like a thin spread when it's thawed. The fish were going after some of the glops that break free of something. Tell me what you think!! is this a good recipe or not one you'd use for some reason. It clouds up the tank a little and the skimmer goes crazy! How often should I feed my mush, if I'm already feeding DT;s twice a week, mysis or brine shrimp with fresh cyclopeeze soaked in some tank water or DT's depending how the feedings fall in line. Should I maybe just substitute it for one of of the other foods I feed? I appreciate any thoughts on my feeding schedule. Thanks!

Sounds like a healthy mix... I prefer to add some high protein fish and raw shellfish, but what you have seems ok... as far as feeding, you have ALOT of "filter feeder" foods that cvan scew water quality rather quickly. IMO, feed 2-3x's per week your fish mush and maybe some diced raw clam/fish mix 2x's per week(enough that the tank is clear w/no leftovers within 5 minutes of feeding). Oh, and turn off your skimmer for about 2 hours during the time you feed.
