Aw Dood! Don't you know I am a sucker for things that are tiny and cute and in bunches!! They are irresistable.... but I must resist!

    Nice setup, BTW!

Have you ever kept them with your horses?

You can note the difference in his 'posturing' as he has that "I'm sooo full I could hurl" look.
    LOL.

You can not resist...you can not FIGHT the power.. you've been proven to have 1.023 SG in your veins... it is futile to resist!!!

    Nice setup, BTW!
    Many thanks!

No... and for only one reason. They are incredible eating machines. They can swim about and strip the water column of foods in mere seconds. Otherwise, they are quite peaceful and smallish fish. I had that pair in a nano for years as they were growing to maturity..and put them in the 75G when they were adult.

You know.... I don't think I have ever seen them eat! They are always so still when I see them..... didn't know they were pigs at a buffet!

    Seriously now
That was some awesome information, thanks for sharing, I honestly didn't plan on breeding them, but if they did spawn and there were survivors I would absolutley throw them in the fuge to grow out.Going by wha tI stated in my original post, do you think that there is something goin on with them??

He he he.. sorry about that... I ramble sometimes.

Watch the smallish fish... if it stops eating, it's probably a male carrying. The only thing I can think of is that if she was gravid, he may be prodding her along to release the eggs. Lots of fish do this as part of mating. Again, watch to see if he is eating. My pairs were always such that the male was the larger fish..but that means nothing if one of your fish is JUST reaching sexual maturity.
