Is she 1/2 of a laying pair? Koi can sometimes get impacted with eggs. Dont know if clowns can. Just putting it out there for breeders to provide some insight.

Yeah I only one. If it was impacted eggs is there anything I should do? To prevent it from happening again?

If you only own one clownfish then you should not have to worry about eggs. Lymphocytis is a virus, basically like the common cold for humans. I don't think that your fish had lymphocytis here is a link with a picture of a blue hippo tang which is affected: FAQs: Fish Diseases, Treatments, Quarantine, Health Info . It may just have been an infection from your fish cutting itself on a rock or something else.

Thanks for the info. She's doing great now and I added a small male about a week and a half ago and they stick together all day.

That's great! I used to own a pair of gold stripe maroons, they laid eggs about every two weeks. Here's a link to my breeding journal: Breeding Journal, Species: Premnas biaculeatus .
