I have a male scooter blenny that is VERY fat and happy. Every time I sit and watch the tank up close He swims over by me and displays the long fin on his back (dorsal fin?) He only does this when I look at him up close. Never to my husband or kids. Am I irritating him or something? Or he just happy? When he opens the fin it is beautiful. It has 4 dark spots and green and orange lines. I also noticed around his cheeks and eyes he had BRIGHT blue spots, like freckles. I never seen one like that. Is he maybe looking for a mate? Anyone have any clues to this behavior?
