It certainly sounds like you are headed in the right direction. If it was easy anybody could do it. I am sure the survival rate in the wild is pretty low so don't feel to bad.

I believe I read that only 1 out of every 750-1000 babies make it to adults in the ocean. That is why they have so many and reproduce every 2 weeks. So if you look at it that way, they have a better survival rate in my tank then the ocean

Hey that's not too bad! In nature, I think I read the survival rate is less than 1%, but not sure if that was to Juv. or Adult.

    Thanks...

I'll always, sorta, kinda, be "around". But I've been crazy busy. I've now got three different offices in three diffrent states. I sometimes wake up in one state and go to sleep in yet another.

Suffice to say, I've sold my ponies and my tank is now a FO with false percs, a dottyback, cardinal and goby. I WILL be back into ponies again one day, but for now, I'm just learning more, helping others where I can, and leaving all the tank raised stock in your hands

I do have a 70 gallon acrylic being built and will have it up and running this Spring. It will be a mixed reef in my family room. Other than that, I still, for some unknown reason, have my cultures running in my fish room, and continue to try and keep things going while on the run.

    Be well,

    D

Thanks spookey. It's not much to look at yet........but it will be. Tax returns are comming and I have no problem sinking a thousand of it into my seahorses and tanks. I figure it's my money and I'm going to use it for what make me happiest!

I just wish I could be home, and enslaved to them again. Unfortunately, I need to feed my boys and pay the bills. A job is a job.

At least I've got the "reefing" thing down to a point where it can take care of itself for a few days at a time. I guess it's time to take a step back I may even get back into breeding Banggai Cardinals since they are going to be "red listed" soonest.
