I have a pair of 4 stripes that spawn bout the new moon and full moons each month. They do this little jerky dance and he trys to intice her over to the glass/nest ( they like the glass on the front rleft corner) As a matter of fact the new moon was 2/17 and last night we had eggs when I came home from work. Next time I see them doing it I'll try to get a video.

I got a pair of gsm in my 75 that seem to do a little dance around each other then they go apart...the one hides under this shelf but if there are eggs or what i couldn't tell you i will be tearing the tank apert in about a week to do some much needed maintence and upgrades so i hope i don't mess anything up there.

from what i understand that if they are spawing and their enviroment changes they stop and it can take a long time for them to start again. one more question for people with BTA's how often do you feed them?

For me, intentional weekly feedings, but my GSM likes to steal food from it (weird?). I'm not exactly sure how much the BTA was able to ingest.
