I have a misbanded clown we got him from a local pet shop i know gassssspppp! lol we got two but one died about 6 months later, out of the blue he was just missing! now as my necie would say marlin is sooooo lonely, I am not super experienced only been at the reef tank for about 18months but if i were to get another misbanded clown about the same size would they fight? We also have a Lemon Damsel who is the BIGGEST thing i have ever seen we got it it was about the size of a nickle,he is not the size of large minnow, it was 8 dollars and it was after we lost ALL of our fish to velvets starting off we wanted to start back CHEAP, so we got him. whenever we add something new to the tank he ATTACKS!!!! how do i get him to STOP?????
The new clown should be smaller than the one you currently have, and they should be fine.
The damsel is a damsel and nothing you do will ever change it's behavior. Find it a new home, or it'll continue to harass other fish, and may even start attacking your hand as well.
Quick question, does it HAVE to be another misbanded? Ive heard 100 Different things from 100 different people! some say it HAS to be that same type and some say it doesnt matter! are they are Damsels anyway?
