No sump, no skimmer. Just a c3 and c4 filter. A korailia nano for extra flow. Right now im using calcium nitrate pellets that i bought in bulk. I plan on finding something to use for adding phosphate because im readyfor these plant to boom. Right now phosphate is my limiting nutrient. I havent had it detectable since i added my first plants.
Oh and Dave from kees gave me a really cool macro algae that hitch hiked in on a frag, looked super cool then I took it home and when the blue lights come on it also fluoresces red. Got a few pieces of it so I hope i can get it to grow in nicely.
first off the one that i have waited so long to get. actabularia. aka mermaids wine glass
and heres one that i didnt expect to be much but due to high variation in species i present eucheuma spinosum, a red aglae that is yellow.
next are a series of halimeda species that i bought as a package. simply the best examples of mermaids fan on the market. followed by shaving brush and branching halimeda, some old, some new.
an older specimen but a good one. cymopolia barbata
This is an awesome tank ! I think this is one of the most original tanks I have seen. It's spectacular what you have done with all the diffrent species of algae and the presentation is first rate! Not to mention pipe fish
