I've done quite a few water changes with the new salt since then.
I love the neo marine stuff, and my tank seems to love it as well. I've got an extra 30 gallons mixed up waiting to fill up the sump.
Well, I got the sump built, and plumbed, and even turned on and running. Here's some pics enjoy.
anyone ever turned there filter sock into a skimmer, at least thats how its acting.
replacing this with a spears gate valve, the blue handles snapped off finally after 2 years.
how dirty this sock is, oh my, and only after the 2nd day......
my crazy, kinda to big 2" durso, I'll have to explain that later
and I'll end it with a pic of one of my latest and newest favia favorites
And a couple of small videos of everything in action and some coral as well.
The sump running
The filter sock that thinks its a skimmer
New raptors peace coral, needs a little more coloring up to go
sorry for the blue'ish tint, my phone doesn't handle my lights to well
A frag of what I had thought to be a favia(when I purchased it as such...), but is indeed an Acan echinata. I'm actually very happy with this piece, it's more than coloring up. You can see the red, purple, green, and a little yellow/orange'ish color developing in the center of the one mouth. When I bought it, the only colors were red and brownish purple.
And lastly a very small clip of the mother colony I took the frag from.
