Mike what's the name of that substrate? Very unique!
Thanks! It is SeaChem "Gray Coast" I am not sure if it is still available. It is a calcite, very high in Magnesium, that is whyI chose it.

Thanks Vicki, yes I did. The Powder Blue is from Tomasz's old tank, and the Sohal with all the SPS is from BSBarton. The other 2 are from my own tanks, and the Leafy Sea Dragon was from a zoo some years ago.
I think I cleared up the micro bubble issue, my strainer was full of chaeto and detritus. Since I am running a filter pad in front of the pump intake, I took the strainer off and put a 90 facing down on the intake for now, just to see if that was truly it. The tank is really growing on me with the "bright" light. I do miss the Blue though, I am looking at ways to add some back in, ReefBrite LED's, or Blue Plus?
Those aren't Canvas, just mounted on a foam backing. I get them from the new Meijer here in Creek Vickie, they are pretty cheap, about $12 for a mounted 8x10.
Wouldn't adding T5's cut down your shimmer?? I would add a radion 20k bulb and some royal blue LEDs !!!
Between the halide and the reefbrite leds it should shimmer like a disco ball no matter how many t5s he adds. However he will get richer color using the combo. I have found it difficult to use leds as a supplement with halides because they are point source. They don't flood like a t5. You just get blue spikes directly under the leds. And I agree on the bulb although I think you meant Radium which are awesome provided you are running an hqi or electronic ballast vs a magnetic. If you are running a magnetic ballast I would suggest XM 20ks.
