    Nice shots Rick! if you can adjust the shutter speed at all - I'd try shooting faster (that might help with the light balance)

    ok i have'nt posted here in awhile. my tank crashed and i think i found the culprit. i had a large turbo snail kick the bucket on me. I have had him over 3 years and he disappeared all the time for long periods of time, so i didnt think much about it. upon tearing the tank down i found his shell with him not in it. Thats the only thing i can think of. i got me another new test kit and tested the water an my phosphates were high so i contribute that to the red slime. Here are some pics of before i tore the tank down WARNING : the first 2 are not pretty.
