I started this tank wen i was in high school it has been running for about 10 years now, had under gravel filter in bottom of tank that i never took out so now i found out that in have to rip hole tank down and clean sand with cold water to get rid of slim problem. becuz the stuff under it is seeping through the substrate. so from wat i hear that is wat my problem is talked to alot of ppl that told me that was the problem with running one but was even bigger problem cuz i capped it off and took tubes out like year ago. i all ways had that slim growing and now i have finely pin pointed what was causing.. so i plan to take it down and pray that i dont loose any fish or coral in the process but kno that it needs to be done for me to fix nitrate and phosphate problem and have healthy happy tank... emperor 400 2 1050 powerheads sea colon protein skimmer lights 4t5 2 blues 2 10k, 10 led's no sump yet plans to in the future, but due to tank size its gonna be a tricky build, but will be completed by the end of the summer picturephp?albumid337&amppictureid2816 - starting my reef picturephp?albumid337&amppictureid2814 - starting my reef picturephp?albumid337&amppictureid2817 - starting my reef picturephp?albumid337&amppictureid2819 - starting my reef picturephp?albumid337&amppictureid2821 - starting my reef picturephp?albumid337&amppictureid2815 - starting my reef picturephp?albumid337&amppictureid2820 - starting my reef
