    So, are you talking about the little white dots under the 'nems mantle?

    no there was a white coating around his foot. I found out he was melting so i put him into a different tank so he didn't mess up my water in the tank. I looked at him this morning and i'm pretty sure he died.

    yup he's dead. But I think he is the reason why my nitrates were so high. Next time i get a nem i'll make sure to have the proper lighting. The lfs told me the one I had would work fine. But the more I read the more I realize that that was definately not enough light.

    get urself a condylactus anenome if you really want one for now. they require very little light, are extremely cheap, and are great for beginners. some people buy them to check the aquarium levels to see if it is ready but mainly it is a hardy nem.
    It's all about the reef. :YEAH:
