I had a 4-5 inch angler with a 3 inch mantis in a 14 gallon biocube. they did fine. the angler got most of the food as it did not touch the gravel. i had to lure the angler to one side then drop a silverside to the mantis. mantis is too quick and the angler way too slow to even think about going after the mantis.

hmmm such a hard decision because it would be an expensive meal.
what about a dwarf lion and possibly a small puffer and small trigger?
what are some other ideas for predator tank? i want something that literally wrecks things.
what about a scorpion fish, fuzzy dwarf, and a snowflake eel?
