My cleaner shrimp tend to only get the tangs. My flame wrasse harem ignores them and so does my tail spot blenny, trigger, firefish, pink spot goby, perc clowns and chromis.

Now my cleaner wrasse is another story, he cleans everyone like it or not. I have seen the wrasse with half of his body inside my pink spot gobies gill plate. My orange shoulder tang sits perfectly still while the wrasse works him over, he also turns almost black during cleaning and then right back to juvi yellow when the wrasse finishes.

Overall I think the wrasse is a far better cleaner than the shrimp. The other fish simply cant avoid the wrasse, a cleaning is coming just get used to it, lol. Thankfully my wrasse is more than happy to eat flake, arctipods, mysis, etc. He might be my favorite fish.
